Webcams on Tenerife stand in stark contrast to a previous article titled “What miss you” which discussed things and aspects you miss on the island. What do you miss when you are stewing in your homeland? You watch the thermometer plummet, while the trees seem to buckle. Streets and squares are littered with fallen leaves and as you look outside, the thirty-second rain shower sweeps through. Water rushes into the sewers and soon, King Winter will arrive on his sled.
Then, there’s nothing left to do but to snuggle a bit closer to the heater. As you do, you wonder what on earth you are doing in the Low Countries. Three thousand kilometers away lies a magnificent island, gleaming under a radiant sun, and that’s where you long to return. Obligations keep you at home to carry on with your daily routine while you continue to ‘eat your heart out’ and get annoyed by things that radiate negativity and drag you into a downward spiral.
Good news
Without moving an inch, you can bring Tenerife into your home. Various locations can be conjured up right before your eyes with just a simple click. This may be a small consolation, but it does help a bit to revive your spirits. We have selected a number of livecams on Tenerife that quickly and simply project a real image of various locations.
By clinging to the idea that these images are displayed in real time, we prefer to call them livecams rather than webcams. So, let yourself sink back and dream away until the time comes when you can, truly and physically, travel back to Tenerife.
