    VIDEO CABLE CAR ON TENERIFE

Video Cable Car on Tenerife showcases how the Teleférico captivates everyone, drawing countless visitors with its magnetic allure.

That’s why millions of tourists ascend every year to visit this ultimate crown jewel at higher altitudes. You need to smell it, feel it, and touch it to truly satisfy your senses. However, the literal and figurative highlight awaits at the very top.

The easiest way to reach it is by taking the cable car. In less than ten minutes, the cable car takes you from 2,356 meters above sea level to just below the peak of Mount Teide. It stops at the La Rambleta station, situated at 3,555 meters altitude and just 163 meters away from the absolute summit.

The cable car spans a length of 2,482 meters and transports up to 35 passengers per gondola at a speed of 8 meters per second (28.8 km/h). The elevation gain of 1,199 meters is something you’ll feel in your ears as you ascend.

When visiting Las Cañadas and taking a trip on the cable car, always bring appropriate warm clothing and sturdy footwear, even in summer. At high altitudes, the sun and light are much stronger, so ensure you have good sunglasses and sunscreen, and always carry enough water. Keep in mind that the high altitude and thin air can be challenging for those with heart or respiratory issues.

Here’s a recommendation: if you’re in Tenerife, you must take the cable car to the top at least once. It’s a literally and figuratively breathtaking journey you’ll remember for the rest of your life. You can read more about a day trip to the mountain’s summit HERE. The Teide Cable Car video takes you on a virtual trip to the top of Mount Teide. Enjoy the trip to a higher altitude.

I have always given Tenerife a central place and have managed to weave the island into my texts within my editorial and journalistic network. The island, which I have been in love with for decades, has seduced me into writing three books, several reading pamphlets, and thousands of articles, columns, and prose. Information and news are the products, pen and paper are the tools, while engagement is the glue. I want to share the result with everyone. I had to discover it first, then I could articulate it because we are tied to our origins by a thousand threads. Not me..., I was just born in the wrong place. © All works are copyrighted.
