Handcrafted History
This concept was developed by Rural Hotel La Correa del Almendro, located between Arona and La Escalona at an elevation of 810 meters above sea level and just a 30-minute drive from Mount Teide’s towering 3,715 meters.
The hotel sits on a 17,000-square-meter property that includes an old barn built in 1720 in traditional Canarian style. It features a wooden roof with exposed beams, wooden floors, and a spacious wooden balcony, all handcrafted from pino tea (Canarian pine), a durable, fire-resistant wood known for its resilience.
Cosmic Romance
As an added touch, the glamping experience includes a fully transparent bubble annexed to the glamping room, offering panoramic views of the night sky. Guests can stargaze almost literally from their beds, creating a blend of cosmic wonder, romance, and intimacy.
This rural hotel is the perfect destination for travelers looking to escape mass tourism and the stresses of daily life. Instead, they can immerse themselves in a serene, idyllic setting surrounded by nature and profound silence.
